Lists are where you bookmark, collect and organize the trend signals and articles you find on the Quantumrun Foresight Platform.
Use Lists to organize your bookmarked articles about topics and signals that you’re exploring. And set your List to ‘public’ if you’d like to share your collection with the world!
You can create a new List using a number of methods: click here.
Or you can edit the details of an existing list by following these steps.
- First, log into your Quantumrun Foresight Platform account.
- Locate your List inside your ‘My Lists’ page: click here.
- Open the List you want to edit by clicking on it from the ‘My Lists’ page.
In the top-right corner of your List page, you will see several button options that will be explained below.
Add an external link
When navigating the platform, you are restricted to only bookmarking content published on Quantumrun.com.
However, once you are inside your List, you have the option of clicking on the “+ EXTERNAL LINK” button to add whatever external website link you would like to your List. These links will not be moderated; they will not be promoted or searchable within the platform and they will only be visible to platform users that directly visit/view your List page.
Visualize your lists
You can turn your lists into visualization projects. Just click on the “VISUALIZE” dropdown button to access visualization options, including:
- Strategy Planner
- SWOT and VUCA
- Ideation Engine
- Scenario Planner
Edit (delete) bookmarks in your list
To delete articles from your list, click on the ‘EDIT’ button.
- Once activated, you will see trash can icons on the top right corner of each article on your List.
- Click on those trash can icons associated with the articles you want to delete.
- Once you are done, click on the “SAVE CHANGE” button at the top-right corner of the page to complete the content deletions.
- The List page will then refresh with the selected articles deleted from the List.
- You can cancel the editing process at any time by clicking on the “CANCEL EDIT” button.
Settings
Finally, by clicking on the “SETTINGS” button, you will open up a popup that will allow you to edit the following List elements:
- List title
- List description
- List feature image
- List tags (the better your Lists are tagged, the more visible it will be on the platform)
You can also set your List to ‘private’ mode so that only you can access/view it. Likewise, you can set it to ‘public’ mode so that anyone can find and view your List page.
You can duplicate your List page by clicking on the ‘clone’ option.
In the top-right corner of this popup, there is also a dropdown button that will allow you to delete your List.
