MUMBAI: Twenty five-year-old Noor Hanif* "walked out" of a city hospital on Friday, 10 days after she arrived on a wheelchair having been unable to walk for almost four years. It wasn't a miracle operation that helped the Arab girl walk, but 10 psychiatric sessions using an age-old technique of giving a short-acting anesthesia meant to relax patients.
